I would imagine the truck will be slightly larger than this Eagles, I mean... Phillies truck.

First, Punxuatawney Phil signals that winter will soon be coming to an end. Thank God…

…and then the Phillies go ahead and make it even better by sending out a press release today, informing us all that the Phillies equipment truck will head to Clearwater on Friday morning.

Every year, I wait for this day… the beginning of the light at the end of this ridiculous winter tunnel. “I don’t feel comfortable doing it,” Amaro told FOXSports.com. “He’s going to pitch for the Phillies, probably for the entire season.”

The statement all but completes the five-man rotation for the Phils in 2011. Blanton will likely join Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Roy Oswalt, and Cole Hamels. Together, they will be R2C2 and C3P-Joe… and no, I did not come up with that. View full article »

Hey, do you want this autographed Kyle Kendrick card? No? Well... how about her?

Phillies pitcher Kyle Kendrick will avoid arbitration.

Kendrick, the team’s fifth, six, or seventh pitcher, will sign a 1-year, 2.45 million deal with the Fightins. It remains to be seen how he will be used in a rotation with four aces. He could very well pitch out of the bullpen. View full article »
